Rob is a Public Relations Account Manager at Cision (brand name post-merger of Vocus + Cision + Gorkana + PR Newswire). Cision provides leading cloud-based public relations software that enables public relations professionals and businesses to communicate and build relationships with the media, monitor all types of news mediums, and measure their success with detailed analytic data. Before returning to the communications world, Rob was a producer and recording engineer at Windom Road Studios in Washington, DC & Pie Shop on H Street in NorthEast DC. This work brought experience in execution of large-scale event production, marketing and music licensing & publishing. Prior to transitioning into full-time music industry work, Rob had experience as a coordinator for NexGen Music Group - an independent music and entertainment distribution company with a global reach. NexGen offers a wide range of physical and digital distribution services to independent artists and labels that are seeking a reliable distribution partner that can make an impact in the music marketplace. Rob graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing & Entrepreneurship from George Washington University. Through his time on campus, Rob was involved in many student organizations and start-ups involving event-planning, programming, project management, booking, negotiations, and strategic formulation & implementation. Rob's creative work allows him to exercise and implement his skills in graphic design, sound design, event booking, promotion, planning, set design, among many other things.
