Responsible for the design and build of electrical tooling needed to test electronic circuit cards and sub-assemblies. Proficiency in writing technical documents and have authored 150+ detailed electrical test methods and procedures. As the department Engineer, I was responsible to test and troubleshoot production assemblies ranging from circuit cards to fully integrated systems. As part of process improvements, I specify and procure test equipment such as CableScan harness & cable continuity test system. Instruct bench technicians on programming and use of CableScan system in both Production and Test environments. EPROMS are programmed using Data I/O programmer, and in circuit via JTAG port. Test and debugged embedded systems via JTAG and Boundary Scan. Focus and sensor performance of the cameras are measured under variable thermal and atmospheric pressures using an Optical Collimator along with a large environmental chamber. This type of integration simulates the aircraft environment in both altitude and temperature. Once integration is complete, I would oversee or perform Quality Assurance (QA) and Government witnessed Acceptance Test procedures. I established a test database used to identify failure mechanisms and trends in manufacturing first pass yields. Other duties involve the evaluation of field returns making repair recommendations.
