Specific Duties:a/ undertake all aspects of production within the Digital Print production unitb/ working in close co-operation with the unit Director and administration support, organising production schedules in line with customer expectations and advising management where the same cannot be achieved.c/ handling all aspects of finishing operations within the Digital Print production unitd/ undertake whatsoever Pick, Pack and Dispatch requirements are necessary. Main Responsibilities:a/ Analyse raw material requirements and check sensibility.b/ Ensure raw materials are ordered on timely basis, at the correct price (with extended payment terms) and delivery dates are confirmed as required. Continually examine orders for issues (e.g. supplier delivery dates, customer delivery dates) and amend supplier due dates as necessary.c/ Ensure correct quantities of raw materials are ordered when scrap is take into consideration.d/ Ensure all stock movements are recorded in an accurate and time manner.e/ operate a perpetual inventory stock checking system.f/ Investigate over usage of raw materials against specific PWOs. Analyse why it happens, ensure that all short term raw material requirements are satisfied and implement a feedback loop to ensure that future orders are covered.g/ Ensure all stock is stored in a safe, tidy and accurate method.
