Foreseeing radical changes following the acquisition of Satelcom, presented a unique opportunity to bring key stakeholders together and develop a compelling start-up business plan that enabled Imerja to secure seed funding and commence trading in August 2004 with a portfolio of services centred on network and security specialisation. Fulfilling various roles within the business at different times as needed (Business Development Director, Commercial Manager, Major Account Manager) helped drive Imerja's penetration into new and existing markets that transformed it into one of the UK's leading specialist network and security managed service providers, including formulating a value add channel sales strategy to sit alongside a direct touch strategy that became a cornerstone of Imerja’s success. An early exponent of robust sales processes, helping to evolve, refine and mature Imerja’s sales and service propositions, managing some of Imerja’s largest and most challenging customer accounts, and helping to instill an attitude of excellence across the business that elevated Imerja among its competitors to become a UK award winning SME. Imerja was acquired by Intercity Technology in 2015.

A compact, energetic, technically focused systems integrator and manufacturer of specialist switching equipment, Satelcom were at the forefront of network and security design, build and management services and pioneers of MSP. A longstanding client of Wave Management Limited, joining Satelcom opened up greater opportunities to be immersed into network and security MSP specialisation. Responsibilities intersected all aspects of the business, management of high value, high profile LAN, WAN, converged network, and security projects. Satelcom was acquired by Logicalis UK in 2004.

Exploiting an opportunity to create a consultancy business providing specialist IT management and project management services to the network and telecommunications sectors. Engaging with key clients and working with third party systems integrators the business successfully managed some of the largest high value, high profile MAN, LAN, WAN and VoIP multi-vendor infrastructure projects in the UK public sector.

Reporting to the CEO and responsible for all strategic and tactical academic and administrative computing in the College, delivering an aggressive IT programme of service modernisation to over 6000 staff and students across three campuses

The 3rd largest NHS Trust in the UK with 1500 beds across 7 hospital sites. Responsible for IT service delivery covering all strategic and operational services of the Trusts patient systems, network infrastructure, and desktop environment. The role involved building from ground zero a fully integrated IT department, management of complex IT procurements and projects to public sector PRINCE standards, including a Trust wide network and customer facing (Trust Departments) support systems.

A technical pre-sales role covering bid management, infrastructure design, and sales support to underpin business centric complex solution sales for UK clients against a portfolio of Bull HN and third party products.

Various roles with responsibility for software development of library automation software products. Instrumental in the software development of the highly successfully online public access catalogue designed in collaboration with New York University and the MARC records management system designed in collaboration with the Bibliotheque Nationale de France, Paris.
