About Robert Strom
Author/ Playwright Robert Strom studied Dramatic Writing and Humanities at Chabot College. He has appeared in the musicals The Boyfriend, Guys and Dolls, Cinderella and Grease. In 1990 he was appointed by Grammy winner Keely Smith president for life of The Keely Smith Fan Club. He is the author of Miss Peggy Lee: A Career Chronicle, Lady of Burlesque: The Career of Gypsy Rose Lee and Virginia O'Brien: MGM's Deadpan Diva. His forthcoming books are Cries in the Night: Children in Film Noir (BearManor Media Publishing 2022) and Nick, Nora & I: The Story of Asta (2022). As a playwright he created the one man show Villians and Van Gogh: An Evening with Vincent Price.
