CurrentIn this position, I oversee, plan and manage all facets of the overall experience that a product (interface, application, product, system or policy) delivers to a group of users. Specifically, my responsibilities include the oversight and execution of Team management, Visual Design, Information Architecture, Interaction Design, Usability, and Human-Computer Interaction as well as accounting for the Cognitive Performance associated with said product. I advocates for the end user’s needs and desires throughout the design and development process. I identify and implement relevant research methodologies aimed at understanding, exploring and identifying User Requirements for a digital or physical product. I plan, conduct and analyze validation tests (Usability, Accessibility, Feasability) for digital or physical products with relevant stakeholders. I generate documents and artifacts (Use Cases, User Personas, Scenarios, Network Diagrams, Task Flows, Wireframes, Sitemaps, Paper Prototypes, Static Digital Prototypes, Dynamic Digital Prototypes, Physical Prototypes, 3D CAD Prototype Models, 3D Printed Prototypes) to represent, identify and communicate User Requirements to our development team. I have been on teams responsible for submitting 33 disclosures in less than three years, with approximately one-quarter resulting in intellectual property for NCH. In addition, I also compose sections for grant proposals and coauthoring peer-reviewed academic papers and presentations.
