My Current role in CRES is Operations Lead and Operational Risk and Premises risk reporting into the head of CRES for Africa. The role includes 5 direct reports and my current responsibilities include strategy development and execution and the day to day running of the operations across the continent including the disciplines of real estate, engineering, facilities management, capital projects. Achievements in current Role:• Development of key Hybrid model principals and toolkits to shape future workspace demand efficiencies and colleague experiences across the corporate portfolio.• Co-creation of CRES real estate asset optimisation and technology strategy and delivery of a number of strategic initiatives and cumulative savings of cR1.8bn since 2012.• Co-creation of the regional Programme Management Office with alignment to an overall global outsource model delivering greater visibility, control, commercial capability and governance on expenditure. This included the development of a full scale Change management capability for all large capital projects.• Co-developed a Real Estate asset strategy for South Africa that provided flexibility for the future and that maximised the value of the retained portfolio and that will cost effectively meet the needs of the company’s workforce.• Implemented dynamic hybrid working to increase the utilisation of corporate office space and provide flexibility and collaborative working via a range of diverse settings to meet different business needs and to further enable the reduction in the corporate office portfolio.• Defined and developed full CRES system architecture and technology stack for the future proofing of the function. This includes the identification and investment in technologies to drive data led decision making. • Created a cross functional Data Lake of over 55 million data records to enable informed data led decisions to be made on the real estate portfolio and operational service delivery standards.
