I was once told that "If you want to succeed, then shoot for the Moon, if you miss at least you will land amongst the stars", to which I replied "if you shoot for the Moon and missed, that was some very bad planing and horrible telemetry. I plan to put forth a great deal on preparation to launch into space along a calculated path to the Moon, to have a soft landing, check things out a bit, and cross off the first stop on my bucket list before making preparations to go much farther!"For those who would not be exactly sure from my little story, I have a the goal to one day walk on Moon as well as to hopefully walk on Mars with the caveat that I do not wish to make these trips as a one way trip, I plan to return to tell the tale. To that end, I believe that, a "giant leap for mankind" in our technology is necessary to make these expeditions not end up as a one way is necessary.
