Electrical/Operations Engineer

Mechanical Engineer/Operator
I spend most of my days fixing anything that could possible be broken or need replacing at this chemical plant. I Basically have all the skills to repair anything as a handyman but most of my days work is with pumps, motors, pipe fitting, valves, electrical valves, insulating, copper installation/steam tracing, rewiring panels, troubleshooting pumps/motors/cars/heavy equipment any machinery. I am very good with computers, I have welded using make, tig, and stick. I even do some logistics here refilling stock parts and checking them in and out. I replace old pumps and motors. I am very good with my hands and think fast in situations especially at this chemical plant I have to be ready for anything while working under extreme pressure. I get done several work orders in a day and provide quality and quantity. I'm young and always show up everyday and on time. I am great value to any team of a work force. I've been going to school full time while working here completing course with programming and coding. I handle myself very well and can work with anyone my moral is amazing and I'm always ready to learn. I learn very fast also which is a plus while working here because I take everything I see hear or do and advance fast in any career I want. This place has advanced my skills especially coming out of the navy so I feel I have a lot of experience and looking to excel even further towards my electrical engineering path. that's my bachelors degree I'm going for so that's what I would like to pursue. And here at this job at the chemical plant I work with a lot of engineers everyday and they teach me everyday. I can also drive a forklift, lull, backhoe. I use them daily at my job. I turn valves I can read and write prints on a operations based plant of any technology or mechanical set up.
Engineer
I have worked in many different types of environments while on the ship. I worked the most with motors and engines doing maintenance and repairs for all of the various equipment. I replaced motors in AC units, big fan units, Mrg's, and other little equipment throughout the ship. I've work on many projects and did most of it in a mandatory fast required time. I would have had to do big repairs the day before leaving for underway and deployments to make sure we were able to leave and go about our mission and meet the expectations. Also I was the boat engineer for the small boats that are carried on the side of our ship for rescues and smaller missions we had to complete. I would be the one to repair the motor on the small boat if it broke down. I also got to experience so many different jobs and work with several experts in all kinds of fields of work. I mainly worked in the engine rooms doing maintenance but I also worked a lot with people and warehouse working environments so I am use to working well with others and learning. I got to do a lot of customer service in logistics specialist on the ship. Which dealt with paper work and storing parts and issuing parts for people. I worked countless hours with hazmat and leading the hazmat group with our hazmat waste and hazmat issue. I also would do electrical replacements with circuits and bulbs and help putting wiring all around the ship. I got snipe of the month on the ship insighting I was recognised as the hard worker I am and my leadership skills along with my performance in the engine rooms and doing the most maintenance checks for that month and helping the ship complete the mission. so therefore awarded with this medal. I've also gotten oc sprayed for standing watches and qualifications to hold and shoot a weapon. I got to do multiple experiences while in the Navy I'm very thankful for all the opportunitys it gave me to learn alot and step forward in several career paths.
