Responsibilities include:• Global technical expert for Solution Lifecycle Management (SLM) in defining solutions for the Siemens Smart Grid Portfolio, including Meter Data Management (MDM), Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) and Demand Response.• Reviewed and approved global Smart Metering proposals for technical feasibility and risk.• Supported regional Centers of Competence in understanding, selling and delivering Smart Metering solutions.• Led contract negotiations to support the Global Centers of Competence.• Contributed to large, complex IT system implementation methodology, program management and operations.• Supported implementation efforts by leading customer meetings and being accountable for project deliverables and success.• Assessed global market requirements and drove new functionality through the product development process.

• Product development manager for our smart grid services team. Responsible for developing new service solutions, building business cases, evaluating market forces and driving new revenue opportunities to support the strategic direction of the team.• Responsible for negotiation of complex prime contracting opportunities. These multi-party contracts involved a great deal of negotiation strategy and included multiple third party vendors.• Supported our business at trade shows and worked with our customers and partners to develop and understand evolving market requirements for our services.

Led the architecture development and implementation for the eMeter EnergyIP meter data management system. Also led the development of new business processes to take advantage of the new smart grid solution.
