Led team of software engineers responsible for building an enterprise wide application framework to enable consistent application architecture across all service organizations.• Championed enterprise wide software architectural design patterns by building support and gaining consensus among development peers to enable flexibility and speed to market. • Coordinated Enterprise Governance by heading FedEx advisory board charged with prioritization of new feature implementation across the enterprise as well as managing production issues that may arise and building a resolution strategy. • Acted as last line of defense in high impact customer affecting production issues through execution of real time triage and mitigation strategies which often involved interfacing with customers. FedEx Ship Manager Development Team (2007 – 2009)Led design of distributed shipping software platform currently in use by Fortune 100 companies and thousands of businesses over the globe, supporting approximately 70% of FedEx shipping revenue.• Chaired meetings with technical teams insuring issues were driven to closure. • Advocated for the customer by developing customized integration strategies for migrating customers from current product offerings to new products. PowerPad Development Team (2003 – 2007)Provided technical leadership resulting in development and launch of a global hardware based mobile operations platform that enabled shipment visibility with an install base of over 100,000 handheld devices.• Served as liaison between the hardware vendor and the FedEx development teams. • Worked directly with station managers and couriers to development a deployment strategy to facilitate on schedule roll out while minimizing any operational impacts to the business. • Designed a multi-year product roadmap strategy to address technology changes in hardware, operating system, and infrastructure. Met monthly to insure the roadmap remained relevant and up to date.

Primary job duties included the design and implementation of a scheduling system for Army logistics operations. The system used genetic algorithms and back-propagation neural networks to compute sub-optimal, but reasonable solutions in a very short time span. The system was developed in C++ and used the X-Windows library for the user interface. Designed and implemented system to graphically display WIS (Wave Information Study) data graphically for the LOTS Site Selection System.
