Managing Health and safety for two companies with employees in onsite production areas, onboard vessels, and offsite repair facilities. Writing, Implementing, and evaluating effectiveness of Shipyard safety program affecting multiple union trades including Boilermakers (metal fabricators), Shipwrights (carpenters), Laborers, and inside & outside Machinist. In an effort to comply with regulating agencies through Hazardous material communication, confined space, lock out tag out, respiratory protection, spill response, firewatch, emergency action plan, and Bmp's. Manage Hazardous waste as Medium & small quantity generator, and all compliance requirements set by the Department of Ecology's NPDES permit. Including Writing, implementing, and training employees on BMP's. Sampling, and reporting of storm water, groundwater, and process water.Additional Experience has included project cost estimating, and organizing and writing final bills for completed ship repair projects. Purchasing as a direct buyer for the ship yard, operating mobile cranes, and performing underwater tasks as a scuba diver associated with ship repair, and hauling vessels in & out of the water.

Certified as a Washington State Site Assessor writing due- diligence Phase 1 reports for Commercial and Residential properties. Conducted pre-demolition surveys estimating the cost of hazardous waste removal including Asbestos, lead, mercury, PCB's, and contaminated soil. Air monitoring, mold management, soil sampling, and water sampling were all routine tasks i performed as a staff Environmental Scientist at The Riley Group.
