Since then, companies retaining his services have ranged in size of gross revenues from “start-ups” to $8 billion. Operationally, as President and Chief Executive Officer of Sakowitz, the Houston-based chain of high-fashion specialty stores, from 1975-1990 and as Executive Vice-President, General Merchandise Manager and Director of Sales Promotion for ten years prior, he built the company to international fashion recognition, taking sales from $32 to $155 million before the oil/energy crash in mid-1980s; instituting a turn-around until his Australian partner was liquidated.
