Manage/lead the mechanical engineering group by identifying opportunities for employee improvements, standardizing processes, prioritizing tasks and training. Manage the facilities Quality Management System and quality team as the Management Representative as required by ISO 9001:2008, held this role during initial system development for original certification. Design permanent rigging equipment for unique contractual applications and standard products primarily constructed of gearboxes, motors, primary and secondary braking systems, aluminum and structural steel, and sheet metal. Communicate and collaborate with engineers, project managers, materials managers, manufacturing, architects, sales representatives, and vendors. Interpret electrical schematics, develop bills of materials, manufacturing drawings and labor routings, and test procedures for quality control and product developments. Create technical documents to present information and research data. Participate and lead daily tier meetings, participate in monthly and quarterly improvement meetings, and monthly Creo and AutoCAD task force meetings (with IT).

Contracted working with Bobcat in Product Development. Developed new design concepts for product development group; created models, drawings, presentations, spreadsheets, and word documents to convey design ideas, show cost analysis, and organize projects.

Designed LED displays for unique contractual applications and products primarily of sheet metal construction. Communicated and collaborated with engineers, project managers, materials managers, manufacturing, architects, sales representatives, and vendors. Interpreted electrical schematics, developed bills of materials, manufacturing drawings and labor routings, and tests for product quality control and analysis.

Designed and fabricated jigs and harnesses for mechanical and electrical component testing; performed testing with EDAQ, PLC, Thermo-chamber and LDS-Vibration systems; analyzed and evaluated test data.
