Undergraduate Researcher Helix
Beginning in December of 2015 I am working on HELIX - the High Energy Light Isotope Experiment. HELIX is a NASA mission designed to study the composition and the origin of the Cosmic Rays. HELIX will utilize a superconducting magnet and incoming particle trackers. The experiment will be lofted into the stratosphere by a high altitude research balloon.
