The goal was to be F5’s first and best customer, feeling the pain before anyone else did. This entailed reviewing upcoming product and features releases to provide feedback on usability and functionality. This process provided deep insight into the product roadmap and allowed us to identify which technologies were appropriate for proof of concepts and what was appropriate for F5 IT to adopt.Rebuilt the employee federation portal built on F5 APM to provide an improved user experience and increased corporate security with MFA. The updated design was adopted by the F5 product development team as the new default look and feel. It has also become a key part of F5 APM demos to customers looking to purchase from F5.Using F5 APM as the platform I designed and implemented a self-service portal aimed at enabling users more control over their credentials, this solution reduced service-desk tickets by 25%.Designed and implemented the initial CI/CD pipeline proof of concept using Jenkins, Ansible and AWS services. This approach that was adopted by F5 IT for managing public dns records.
