As Head of Facilities and Real Estate at Haworth I work with our executive leadership team and business unit leaders throughout the organization. This role provides the opportunity to collaborate with global thought leaders working to solve the latest business issues through innovative design and creative user focused applications.We have completed more than 50 projects including key spaces at our headquarters, new showrooms including the first WELL certified showroom in North America and many manufacturing sites. We have leveraged more than $30M to update our showroom strategy enhancing the experience at 15 locations and built a masterplan at our headquarters that is changing the employee and customer experience putting a focus on wellbeing and engagement.Before joining Haworth, I spent 17 years at Herman Miller, where I gained experience in a variety of leadership roles from technology startups to facilities and customer experience.In 2011 my passion for social entrepreneurship led me to found PechaKucha Night Grand Rapids, creating a place in West Michigan where people of diverse backgrounds share their passions, inspire, and energize the community. Currently, I serve as Secretary on the board of directors for Remembrance Ranch, a non-profit early intervention program for at-risk teens. I am a family man who knows the importance of work/life balance to well being. I pride myself on being a man of my word and doing what I say.
