Most recently, I worked for Zenith Logistics Inc. at the Kentucky Distribution Center (Kroger Distribution) as a department supervisor. This position called for a wide range of talents where, depending on the department I was in; I had the task of managing anywhere from three to sixty employees. I was trained and had working experience in five departments. The most notable responsibility I had was bus driving, where I was responsible for setting up and controlling the work flow for the entire shift of over 160 employees. I was also tasked with helping the less experienced dock supervisors meet their goals of 100% dispatch accuracy. This included loading anywhere from 120,000 to 240,000 thousand units, onto100 to 160 trailers in a single shift. At times, I would often be called upon to help out on the docks or fill in for other department supervisors as needed. I was also fortunate enough to gain valuable experience on the training aspects of the company.
