My commercial and operational executive career at Honda encompassed multiple roles ranging in size (~40-100 staff) and complexity and required high level strategic thinking, strong stakeholder management, operational change and people leadership. In 2019-21, Honda undertook a significant transformation to shift to an Agency Business model. Reporting directly to the Board of Directors, I was responsible for all Dealer Network, Customer Experience, Product, Marketing, Digital and general Operations streams. At times, this role included oversight of 100+ staff (including outsourced agencies). With a small project management team of 2-3 staff, I also led the ~8 month implementation program which at its height, had 60+ Honda staff working exclusively and the majority of the organisation contributing indirectly. Within the Dealer Network, the implementation program encompassed ~ 90 Dealer sites across the country with an estimated 600-700 staff directly impacted by changes to their daily role.

Leading the entire finance function in a CFO type role (~$1b AUD revenue, finance / ~10-40 Staff), I had the full management and oversight of Honda’s financial records, planning, performance analysis, compliance and general business support to deliver on profit objectives. I also contributed to the design and monitoring program over the firms internal governance programs.
