Began career in Human Resources with the Fram Corporation. Held roles of increasing responsibility in various operating divisions within the automotive sector (AlliedSignal). Worked extensively in HR capacities working “hands-on” to build best-in-class HR platforms in talent management, compensation and benefit programs, OD/HRD and performance management processes and development of shared services delivery systems, all concurrent with numerous organizational change initiatives. Became VP of Human Resources for InteliCoat Technologies. Through a dynamic growth period managed all HR initiatives during periods of dynamic change. Helped lead the business through a number of acquisition and divestiture initiatives, asset consolidation actions and delivered the necessary HR tactical and direct hands-on support throughout. In coming to St. Louis, took on the position of Sr. Director of Human Resources for GKN Aerospace PLC with responsibilities for all Human Resources, Labor Relations and Environmental Health & Safety activities. For 18 months, served Patriot Coal Corporation in St. Louis as its Corporate Director of Human Resources and Employee Services. Founded Arch Human Resources Consulting, LLC, specializing in pursuit of organizational effectiveness driven by services and solutions in the areas of HR, Training/Development and Labor & Employee Relations. Served as Director Employee/Labor Relations & HR Development at St. Louis Community College District prior to joining Southern Illinois University Edwardsville as its Director of Human Resources. Currently semi-retired while continuing to adjunct instruct in graduate and undergraduate Human Resources courses at Lindenwood University.
