At Elomatic Marine & Offshore, I am working as a system responsible engineer. The work is demanding and challenging but also very interesting. Ship design is a fascinating industry and very active and constantly developing.Keeping up with technology by regular training because one can never stop reading and learning new things. For example, situation awareness and autonomous systems are areas that I have an eye on, how they develop. Also, basic engineering skills are good to ramp up ones in a while. Continuous learning is the key to success.Otherwise, my greatest experience is in aluminum craft design and production. Marine systems engineering, propulsion & mechanicals and after-sales services. And always interested in naval architecture and yacht and small craft design. These skills I try to maintain and develop whenever I have the time and opportunity.In my spare time, I enjoy boating and outdoor activities. Active in Search And Rescue (SAR) that means a few or more “open water season” weekends on duty, regular training and in there between keeping crafts in operation. This means sometimes long evenings doing maintenance with a great service team. Thanks to them all!
