Courier Desk Team Leader
I was the main point of contact for all clients courier related enquiries for both inbound and outbound requests, providing them with training on the internal systems. As the team leader, I attended quarterly meetings with vendors to discuss performance. To guarantee the efficiency of the department I helped design and implement new ideas and processes, and monitor the team to ensure their system knowledge is optimal. And, I was a member of the team responsible for making sure all items meet compliance. I supported our other London offices when senior members were away. My responsibilities included booking jobs via courier-specific web platforms, producing proforma invoices and other customs-related paperwork, dispatching RS tokens to clients throughout EMEA, guaranteeing all outgoing SLAs (Service Level Agreements) are met and advising clients of any potential delays. Also, I liaised with courier companies and customs offices to secure our shipments were delivered within the agreed time.
