Responsible in developing automated test scripts for the suiteapp developed by Netsuite’s partner using Selenium-based Test Automation Framework internally developed by Test Automation developers of Netsuite. Developed automated test scripts using Serenity BDD. Also, involved in data retrieval using SQL for use in the executive report presentation and other requests made by my colleagues. Currently involved in the development of test automation scripts for localization projects. We were able to release Nordics localization and currently developing test automation for Israel localization. After Israel localization, our team will be working on Colombian localization.

Developed and executed automated tests for the in-house applications developed by the software development team to enhance the functionality of the Financial Times website. Use Selenium coupled with TestNG and Maven to develop automated test scripts using Java. Tested the integration of 3rd party applications like Methode, and the two cloud-based applications like ezPublish and Salesforce.

As a Principal Engineer, acted as project lead and helped manage (depending on the requirement of the project) integration and qualification tests in Axiom applications (legacy or NGOD) installed in different Application Servers used in Video-On-Demand (VOD) systems. Lead the execution of 3rd party interoperability and special tests like characterization testing and 3rd party encoder testing. Ensure issues are completely resolved and properly escalated to SIT global whenever engaged in a project.

Assigned in the Asset Optimization department as Software Test Engineer. Involved in the manual execution of Software Verification Test for AMS Device Manager Software and the 375 Handheld Communicator. The AMS Device Manager is use in streamlining maintenance activities, monitoring and recording field device information and many other functionalities relevant to distributed control system.Has worked in the US for eight (8) months and contributed in the testing of AMS Device Manager Viper Turbo project until it was release on Sept 2005. I was involved in doing manual SVT execution for the subsequent version of AMS Device Manager Project. Led a team of 5 test engineers including the language translator to execute testing on localized version of AMS Device Manager. The Japanese, Russian, and German localization of AMS Device Manager had been finished and released in the market. Used Alchemy Catalyst as language translation software. On the side, I was doing a self-study of Mercury software testing tool such as WinRunner and LoadRunner, and QuickTest Pro.

1998 – Aug 2001 Assigned in the Office Automation Department. Developed web database applications using ASP (Active Server Page) for intranet use. Used Microsoft Frontpage 2000 together with Visual Interdev V6 to develop web pages. Created DHTML pages using both the JavaScript and VBScript. Created server components using Visual Basic. The web server being used is the Internet Information Server V4 running under Windows NT, IIS V5 running under Windows 2000 Professional. The database used came from DB2 in the IBM mainframe computer downloaded to the PC server through the DB2 Universal software and converted to Microsoft Access format. Started developing an application using active directory service interface. Started studying Java using Kawa V5.0 and JBuilder Enterprise V5.0 as my IDE with JDK V1.3.0 to compile the Java source code.1991 – 1998 Developed a number of database application programs for Technical Support Department using FoxPro and Clipper and eventually converted them to Visual Basic using Microsoft Access database for use in Windows environment. The following are some of the programs developed:  Service Request Application - a database program to manage the requested services asked from technical support people such as compilation, reorganization etc. SQL Documentation - a database program to document SQL jobs and reports. Task Application - a sort of statistical program to manage completed or pending tasks for the MIS. Cataloging Application - an application to catalog VSAM files and then output a report. Use Microsoft Excel 97 to manage sequential data downloaded from the IBM mainframe to create tables and worksheets facilitating its built-in Visual Basic for Application language interpreter.

Peace Shield Project. Participated in commissioning the S3 SCADA System of the said project. Created a graphical representation of outside field devices being monitored and controlled from the SCADA system console. Added and revised some C source codes and compiled it using VAX-11 C compiler for use in the SCADA system. Used DBASE III+ to arrange the database used in the said system. King Fahd International Airport (KFIA) Project. Developed a program in INP16 SCADA system using its proprietary language to monitor and control fire alarm systems, security systems, air handling units, etc. Participated in commissioning the developed programs and revised them when necessary. Used a PC based application program like FRAMEWORK III and FLOW to make documentations and flowcharts for the program.

Maintained and serviced PDP-11 and VAX minicomputers, PC compatibles and its peripherals, LA120 printer, VT100 and VT220 monitors, RL01 and RL02 disk pack drives, CENTRONICS plotters, and tape drives. Repairs are made down to the component level.

I worked as an instructor in Electronics Engineering Department of Mapua Institute of Technology. I handled Electronics system application and design, Electromagnetics, Transmission lines and Antennas. All of these subjects are handled with their corresponding laboratories. Likewise, I conducted a review classes to prepare engineering graduate students for their upcoming board examination.
