Global Sr. Site Manager, Contract And Development Manufacturing (Cdmo)
CurrentManage all aspects of day-to-day manufacturing activities for global supply of critical Roche medications through strategic CMOs (100M CHF annual spend). Lead Joint Management Teams (JMT) consisting of cross-functional leaders to maintain right to operate and optimization of product quality, supply, and cost. Effective ongoing execution of P&L related to contract expenses, capital investments, and strategic relationship between culturally diverse suppliers and Roche.• Lead Roche/GENE teams through three patient impacting product stock-outs ultimately resulting in minimal to no impact to supply chain. (Rocaltrol, Valganciclovir, vcMMAE-Polivy)• Assess JMT team member capabilities and experience to optimize team effectiveness based on current business needs.• Re-energized three different JMTs after extended periods of challenging quality and production issues, low internal communication and compromised trust.• Mobilized process improvement/root cause analysis initiative on-site at CDMO to address 14 month gap in supply. Supply reestablished in 6 months, with following 2 years of uninterrupted supply with no delays.• Lead design and implementation of CDMO global Cost Optimization Initiative (COI) Process to cultivate and deliver over 180M CHF savings/year.• Directly engaged in multiple (5+) health inspections by global regulatory bodies with successful outcomes.• Actively mentor global JMT members and less tenured CDMO Site Managers to improve delivery and results.
