I am a person who is fascinated by the engineering design process. I started my college career by studying precision manufacturing technology at a local trade school. Shortly after I obtained my associate degree, I began working as a machinist at a tool & die shop. It was here that I gained a newfound respect for the people who work in skilled trades and the field of manufacturing as a whole. My former instructors, co-workers, and family mentioned that continuing my education in the field of engineering was a great idea. I wholeheartedly agreed, so I decided to give it a shot. After doing well in several math courses, I gained the confidence I needed in my academic skills to continue pursuing my degree in mechanical engineering. It took some time and effort, but I was able to persevere and I have now earned my degree. I have learned a multitude of new things and met some great people along the way. I’ve also earned multiple industry certifications including automotive repair certifications, another one of my interests, and machining certifications.I developed a skill for creating blueprints of mechanical components and I've become proficient in the use of computer-aided design software, both of which are indispensable skills in today's field of mechanical engineering. I have also accumulated hundreds of hours worth of valuable hands-on experience in the fields of machining, automotive repair, and welding. I believe I have the potential to become a great engineer and I know that anyone willing to give me an opportunity in the field will not be disappointed.Fun Facts:• I have an interest in PC hardware and software and I've recently built my own gaming PC.• I enjoy bike riding and lifting weights. I also enjoy boxing training.• I like to cook my own meals. My specialty is my signature gourmet breakfast of champions which consists of about 1,000 calories of pure deliciousness.• I’ve had a passion for outer space and space exploration ever since I could speak.
