Assisted in raising, deploying and managing growth capital in the U.S. E&P market. Teams are focused primarily on midstream and non-op upstream investments. Manage 130 wells in the Utica play assessing daily production and field performance. Identify and implement artificial lift installation. Coordinate asset development considering lease hold, core acreage outline and rig/frac crew efficiencies.

Manage rigs in the Powder River BasinCurrent projects include business unit development planning, drilling practices standardization real time center integration and solids control optimization. Involved with all aspects of well planning process from lateral spacing and field development>permitting>program planning/implementation>post job analysis

Niobrara Shale, WY. Manage 2 rigs creating well programs, performing well design with directional software, optimization using reports and real time software. 24 hour communication with rig troubleshooting with drilling superintendents. Collaborate with tool companies to design complex casing strings including production and drilling liners, swell packer completion strings and DV tools for multi stage cement jobs. Create and submit AFE's and applications for permits to drill. Work in collaboration with the real time center to manage operations remotely and implement best practices to increase efficiency and decrease well cost. Latest project entails implementing managed pressure drilling system to minimize down hole losses/formation damage by controlling bottom hole pressure with a combination of mud weight, flow rate and surface back pressure.

Worked on a rotation schedule in Colorado, North Dakota and South Texas as an on site engineer coordinating projects on well bore design and drilling practices. Worked in a small technical team to develop one of the first real time drilling operations centers and customized a version of real time analytical drilling software.

Performed solids control efficiency study in Haynesville ShaleWorked with down hole tools manufacturers and GIS to create a down hole temperature isopach map to predict down hole conditions and modify BHA's in the Haynesville Shale

Optimized gas lift systems in the Barnett shale Determined how to estimate EUR based on recovered frac water

Conducted field mapping and accompanied personnel on work over operationsAssessed the possibility of re-completing wells with minimal production rates in the Austin chalk formation
