Homestar provides a diverse platform for clients and realtors to obtain customized financing and to be able to get loans closed quickly and on time. Community involvement is important and will be a focus with our saturation of the Greenville, SC market as we grow.

At American Equity Mortgage I was tasked with heading up the Greenville, SC Lending Division as a Branch Manager. With a secure relationship with Exit Realty I facilitated this relationship among others with training of their employees for real estate market knowledge as well as designation certifications through the companies real estate training platform. American Equity carried a vast amount of lenient lending products that provided a variety of programs to assist borrowers with their financing needs. Community involvement included sponsorship of fundraising events and local charity organizations.

Marketing and the origination of Semper’s residential client’s and their financial needs was a primary focus. Employee involvement includes training and monitoring of guidelines and procedures to meet compliance limitations. I was responsible for capturing business and marketing to territories throughout the southeast footprint. My job scope involves heavy doses of high end problem solving and analytical thinking where accuracy is paramount. I also established community involvement programs to further saturate Semper’s brand name with local clientele.

I was solely responsible for the origination and management of four affluent retail banking locations. Pipeline capacity ranged from eight to ten million monthly. Specific partnerships with investment banking and asset management divisions provided valuable income streams and a unique opportunity for cross selling of Citi’s relationship products. Job scope involved interaction with clientele to require a determination of tolerance for risk, change, financial goals, income, assets, debts, cash flow, and credit history to determine accurate loan product for customers. I led in the local saturation of Citi’s brand as the provider for lending and other financial solutions. This includes promoting services to real estate agencies, builders, and other prevalent referral sources. I was recognized for the “212 degree” (Award that recognizes an employee for their achievements and for going the extra degree to create success and inspiration at the workplace) I handled the management and training of personal bankers for lending policies and guidelines so they will be a viable asset in the origination phase of the business model.

I was responsible for originating and monitoring lending processes, hiring /training loan officers and processors to meet sales quotas and compliance guidelines. During my employment I was recognized in sales for making the top 24 loan officers list out of 488 branches in 2009 (11) While employed at Van Dyk Mortgage Corp I led in units closed every month for our branch.

I created Inner Circle, a referral source through charitable and non-profit organizations that brought considerable revenue streams to the branch. I Handled operations and project management as a partner of the business and was also recognized for producing facilitating the highest monthly sales revenue in company history as an originator as well. (Corporate) As part of the company marketing sector I managed and hosted national tradeshows by displaying company products and services to promote product saturation in outside markets.

I was responsible for hiring, training and managing teams of loan officers to meet strict monthly quotas for production I was also responsible for originating, closing and selling bulk loans through the company’s warehouse line to investors.
