As the founder, and marketing consultant for "Hearing Healthcare Marketing Company"​ I provide internal and external marketing and sales consulting, and physician marketing training programs for the audiology industry, for audiologists, hearing instrument specialists, and physician liaisons throughout the United States, and overseas. Physician Outreach Marketing Training programs range from one day to one year, depending on level of organizational need. Priority subject matter includes coaching the top ten "soft skills" that augment relationship marketing skills. Science based coaching, ie utilizing message content from published evidence based-research by audiologists and physicians that has the potential to cause doctors to change best practices in providing comprehensive care for the hearing-impaired patient population. I provide corporate presentations to both large and small companies on sales and internal/external marketing, hearing healthcare practice development strategies, new marketing opportunities for audiology because of the changes in market conditions.The objective is to establish the marketing pathway to primary care physicians, create a partnership in patient care, and grow new patient referrals, that adds a new long term, sustainable, profitable revenue stream to the practice.The Marketing Programs are focused on building relationships with primary care physicians, and specialty providers such as endocrinologists, cardiologists, pulmonologists, nephrologists, diabetes educators, internal medicine specialists, geriatricians, and ENT's. The development of these peer-to-peer, staff-to-staff relationships results in more patients referred to hearing healthcare providers, and more patients who receive the hearing care they need. Training is provided by both "distance learning", on-site classroom, and in-field sales training calls on physicians offices.     As a Physician Liaison for seven audiology clinics, I developed and implemented the relationship marketing plans, for primary care physicians, nurses, referral coordinators, office managers and receptionists in the Portland OR, and the Seattle WA area so that they would refer hearing impaired patients to our audiology clinics. Revenue generated from new physician referrals grew from $180,000 annual revenue from hearing aid sales in 2003, to over $750,0000 in annual revenue from hearing aid sales alone in 2007. Over 2300 new patients added to the seven clinics from 2004 - 2008. As a Physician Marketing Manager for a three clinic franchise, I generated $515,000 in new hearing aid sales, over a two year period, in Portland OR - contracted for 20 hours of calls per week.
