A K-12 counseling enriched NPS for students with a history of school difficulties due to social-emotional and learning differences. Student academic ability ranged from beginning level readiness to high school level.Responsible for all daily school operations including case management, school district relationships, teacher supervision and development, creation and implementation of specialized curriculum and instruction based on IEPs, state standards, and family input. Daily collaboration with interdisciplinary team of professionals including therapists, psychiatrists, OTs, SLPs, art therapists, and behavior staff to achieve integration of academic instruction with behavioral health and quality of life goals. 10% of students transitioned back to public schools annually.Trained teachers and directly provided specialized reading instruction for students at all levels of academic readiness.
