Revenue EUR 60m, 250 employees in the Benelux. Group of 7 SMB companies brought together since 2015 and with an ambitious integration challenge. I was hired with the specific assignment to build a strong, integrated finance team, bring professionalism. Notable accomplishments:• Developed a strong finance team (group reporting manager, finance manager, 2 business controllers and 6 finance staff), including business intelligence support, and initiated various integration projects and increased awareness of professionalism, modern transparent reporting and internal control. • Leading role in Exit process (management meetings and due diligence process) as well as buy-side acquisitions. • Designed and completed a pragmatic integration process to align with new owner post acquisition. The completion of this integration process is the reason why I am currently available for a new opportunity.• Implemented internal control framework to support first time audit

Leading a team of Reporting Staff (5), Business Controllers (5), Business Improvement (3) and Financial Administration (12).Notable accomplishments:• Playing a prominent role in the M&A transaction in which Visma acquired Raet. The subsequent organizational restructuring focusing on synergies, took away a layer of management, including my function. • During this exit process, I achieved some added value operational improvements: o Setting up a project control office to improve control of complex implementation and development projects.o Starting a change control board to streamline priority setting by corporate IT department.o Cost savings in procurement by executing procurement project with external company and re-negotiated/tendered all major contractso Revising accounting positions to the benefit of the company

Direct reports 6, consisting of controllers, finance staff and IT staff. Notable accomplishments:• Introduced KPI dashboards using Business Intelligence, resulting in improved cost control, commercial opportunities as well as improved budgeting.• Implemented a new pension arrangement and new HR system.• Outsourced IT activities to a Shared Service Center. • Participated in two acquisitions.
