Manage Operations new product introduction team to work concurrently with Program Management and Engineering teams to ensure seamless introduction of new products from design phase to the factory. I promoted co-located concurrent teams that broke down “silo” mentality resulting in powerful, disciplined work groups that produced on time under budget.

Directed overall operations for manufacturing plants in two facilities in Irvine, CA. Facilities comprised of total operations staff of >250 employees supporting $110M in combined sales. I established processes that substantially increased the number of satisfied customers. I Implemented lean and six sigma practices that improved product quality from.

I was responsible for the profit and loss of a $50MM business unit. I managed several Program Managers who supported multiple product lines. Product lines include: Electro-mechanical actuation, Pilot controls, Commercial aircraft interiors, electro-mechanical shut-off ball valves, bleed air/oxygen check valves and oil/fuel reservoir fluid level sensors.

• Responsible for establishing and implementing all policies and procedures within the Purchasing & Production/Inventory Control groups throughout all focused factories. Primary focus is on establishing a supplier base.
• Core team member ISO-9000/AS-9100 Implementation team.
• Direct Supply chain Management team in establishing a strategic-sourcing strategy.
• Negotiate Long Term Agreements in support of multi-year contracts.
• Implement SAP ERP systems (WDS/MANMAN & SAP)
• Develop and execute annual shipments plan in support of Corporate Annual Operating Plan.

Primary responsibilities include planning and purchasing for several product lines both commercial and Military. Product lines include: electro-mechanical actuators, rocket motor cases, FBW throttle quadrant/pedestal assemblies, lavatory ground support equipment, commercial aircraft interior sanitation systems and high voltage power supplies.
