Responsible for enterprise-wide risk management for one of Caterpillar’s most highly respected dealerships. Lead a team of 20 professionals responsible for the development and administration of all programs related to environmental, health & safety, security, fleet management & DOT compliance, claim and litigation management, contract review and approval, centralized purchasing, and training for 29 domestic locations and international operations in Mongolia.

Directed all efforts to limit company-wide risk exposure for this construction skilled trades staffing company. Managed six team members responsible for health and safety, claim and litigation management, insurance marketing and renewal, and contracts for over 9000 temporary employees at 40 locations across 19 states.

Responsible for the development and implementation of company-wide health and safety management programs during an aggressive acquisition environment. Managed and trained a staff of four employees for this disaster restoration and environmental remediation general contractor with 42 offices in 16 states.

Managed the environmental, health and safety programs for over 2500 personnel on a high security department of defense program.

Under contract with Air Force Space Command, responsible for developing environmental, health and safety specifications for a $10M acquisition, demolition and installation project.

• 1990 – 1997: Safety Manager for a Joint Chiefs of Staff directed program within Air Force Space Command. Provided environmental, health & safety contract compliance oversight on six contracts at 17 worldwide locations totaling over $1B in services.• 1986 – 1990: Served in Law Enforcement providing installation security. Conducted vehicle patrols, investigated complaints, and routinely worked with various agencies to provide surveillance and security operations. As a member of the installation SWAT team, personally selected multiple times by the Secret Service to provide armed protection for the President of the United States and foreign dignitaries.
