I have written almost 100 novels in the fantasy, science fiction and mystery fields. I have written more than 100 western titles under a house pen name and under my own western pen names of Jackson Lowry and Karl Lassiter, whose novel DRIFTER was nominated for a 2009 New Mexico Book Award. Jackson Lowry's SONORA NOOSE received 2011 best novel nominations for both the New Mexico Book Awards and the Western Fictioneers Peacemaker Award. In 2017 I was honored with the Western Fictioneers Life Achievement Award.Over the years, I have published more than 50 short stories.I formerly edited a nonfiction magazine, For Your Family, and have written nonfiction articles on science and science-related topics, such at the Trinity Site and the VLA. In addition to this editing position, I have worked on the editorial staff of four Fantasy Football magazines published by Fantasy Sports since 2002. As co-editor, I was nominated for the 2012 New Mexico-Arizona Book Awards for the alternate history anthology, GOLDEN REFLECTIONS.Specialties: In more than 35 years if writing, I have never missed a deadline and always produce a quality product suitable for its market.
