I am an economist and program analyst with nineteen years of federal government experience across multiple programs within the US Department of Labor. In this time, I have worked diligently to improve processes and find efficiencies to advance the organization's mission. In recent years, I have worked primarily as a Contracting Officer's Representative (COR), as I am certified to represent the procurement office and program offices in the most complex government contracts. In my current role, I serve in the Bureau of Labor Statistics as the COR for the data collection contracts for the Current Employment Statistics program, which releases the monthly jobs report, and Job Openings and Labor Turnover Survey program, which measure labor market tightness, among others.I am looking for new positions where I can bring my expertise to improve processes as a program analyst, provide analysis as an economist, or represent program offices in complex contracts as a COR.   I primarily serve as a Level III Contracting Officer Representative (COR) for the Office of Field Operations' Division of Cooperative Federal-State Programs. I serve as the COR for major data collection contracts, specifically for the Current Employment Statistics (CES) Data Collection Center operations, Job Openings and Labor Turnover (JOLTS) Data Collection Center operations, and the Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) Center. These three contracts comprise over 350 contractor staff in multiple locations across the continental United States. I collaborate with BLS Program Office staff and Data Collection Center management, DOL Procurement staff, and Contractor Project Managers, keeping BLS stakeholders abreast of performance and budgeting information and holding the contractors accountable to ensure deliverables meet or exceed acceptable quality levels.
