Advice Students has been my starting point into simulating an advertising agency’s environment. I managed to work my way up from a programmer to a leading position as the NGO’s VP and the head of the Web Dev department within my first year.As part of the Board I dedicated significant time and resources growing myself and the organization through analyzing and developing adaptive department strategies, maintaining a clear vision during the occasional crisis, while also focusing on mentoring newcomers and getting the best partnerships.Other attributions included:- managed various Advice projects: AdRev, TeachMe, Creativity Blueprints, etc.- delegated tasks and ensured proactive feedback and follow-ups- made reports about the department’s situation- developed and managed web-sites for the NGO’s events- maintained Advice’s web-site- provided other colleagues with technical support- highly active in recruiting the best talents

IMC introduced me to real world back-end developing. I faced developing custom solutions, brand tailored solutions, improved in speed and security optimization, and perfected implementing Programmatic SEO best practices.Responsibilities ranged from designing, building and maintaining user interfaces for websites/web applications to converting comprehensive layouts and wireframes into cross-browser compatible websites.I worked with the most popular CMS platforms & PHP Frameworks: WordPress, Drupal, Magento, CodeIgniter, Yii and others, as well as created and maintained custom systems and developed custom plugins for Wordpress/Drupal or custom jQuery plugins.Major responsibilities also included: - oversaw documentation-related development, project statuses, technical specifications, etc.- analyzed and improved performance, stability, and scalability of websites- contributed to the design and development of website features and functionalities- configured server for web deploy publishing- prototyped and redesigned web app features and implemented best practices along the way- identified and fixed technical problems and bugs ranging from browser incompatibilities and asset minification to server load balancing and database security issues- offered support to colleagues whenever needed - integrated web apps with 3rd party web analytics and campaign tags
