Over nine year career in investment banking/brokerage business. Built and ran the first production microbrewery in Philadelphia in the mid '90's. Independence Brewing Company won 3 GABF, 3 World Beer Cups, 7 World Beer Championships, and 11 ADDY Awards over a six year period. The company was publicly traded on the NASDAQ and sold a variety of draft and package beers throughout the Mid-Atlantic. Moved into technology, heading up New Business Development for Berwyn, PA based Connexus Inc which had patent coverage on audio detection technology that predates Shazam. The technology enabled music listens to discover the details on who the artist, song title, and album were that they were listening to in real time. We sold this business to MediaGuide to track royalties for artist/song writers. Obtained a USPTO patent on a Universal Saving ID that enables a single machine readable code (barcode, QR, RFID,...) to be used across non-related retailers and can apply savings on active offers. A single savings ID that works everywhere. Currently working in the mobile app space to create value for brands, business partners, and for consumers.
