Robert (Bob) W. DullBob spent much of his early career engineering and managing significant projects, both in cost and scope, for the petrochemical industry. Project work culminated as a lead engineer on Conoco's Lube Oil Hydrocracker Project, a one billion dollar expansion in the Lake Charles, Louisiana refinery.Departing from the oil refining industry, Bob joined two international companies, first Agrium (fertilizer) and then Air Liquide (medical and industrial gases), with the express purpose of developing and advancing their maintenance and reliability programs.In July of 2008, Bob was approached by several bright engineers who were developing a technology that used floating wind turbines to produce hydrogen from seawater. As explained, the hydrogen would then be used in a fuel cell to produce electrical power. Intrigued by the prospect, Bob began to expend time and energy in assisting these entreprenuers in the development of a business model.By December 2008, Bob joined MAETEC LLC as Managing Member of the renewabel energy start up, continuing with business development since that time. Raising over $800,000 in capital, components and prototypes were fabricated and tested. MAETEC is now preparing for commercial deployment.Bob is dedicated to the commercialization of MAETEC's technology. The company's mission is to "lead the world in hydrogen technologies for the capture and transformation of renewable energy on demand."By focusing on small islands and island nations dependent on diesel fuel for their electrical power production, Bob is confident that MAETEC can truly begin building the foundation of a sustainable hydrogen economy.
