■Manager Digital & FPGA ■Lead a international multi-site team of hardware Engineers and Designers ■This role includes all aspects of product development including: working with both marketing and product managers to create robust and complete requirements, scoping out design effort, researching various technologies, detailed circuit and system design, detailed schematic design, performing verification activities and working with regulatory and environmental facilities ■Pro-actively interact with the rest of the development team to ensure that the design meets its functional, quality, schedule and cost targets as well as interface with external teams including Product Management, Product Test, Test Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Purchasing, Engineering Change team, etc ■Develop circuit designs in industry-standard tool flows and run associated simulations to verify performance parameters and signal/power integrity ■Document designs from concept to hand-off of designs to internal departments ■Facilitate efforts to obtain environmental compliance and safety agency approvals (e.g., ROHS, WEEE, REACH, FCC, etc.) Qualifications: ■Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering ■16+ years of hardware design experience at the circuit design level which includes design experience with ARM processors (TI and Freescale), Freescale PowerPC processors, , mirco-controllers (PIC, Freescale, TI), DDR memory interfaces, FLASH, PLLs, local switching power supplies, Ethernet, USB and RS232/422 interfaces ■Experience in integrating and using modular or chip based radio designs (CDMA/GSM/Bluetooth/Wifi) ■Strong ability to troubleshoot with high levels of experience with HW test equipment ■Experience in up front design techniques and troubleshooting techniques to address radiated and conducted emissions from PCB through enclosure level and cables ■Possess excellent communication skills and team work abilities
