My role in KBC was focused on the review and verification of AML documentation for both retail and business customers. This involved carrying out full customer due diligence, where I demonstrated excellent attention to detail and data input accuracy. Ensuring banking policy and Central Bank guidelines were adhered to at all times. Identifying fraudulent documentation and liaising with the internal fraud department to support with investigation. I provided customers with a personal point of contact and ensured the smooth processing of applications until completion. Maintained service level agreements and delivered on time as promised to both customers and management. Trained and supported new team members, assisting with system and customer queries ensuring I lead by example.In March 2022 I was selected to represent my team on a newly formedproject as part of the banks external sales of customer. This migration not only required the migration of customer accounts but also supporting documentation. This required identifying, retrieving and transferring upwards of two million documents externally, while maintaining adherence to GDPR requirements. This project was central to the exit of KBC from the Irish market and involved working with highly sensitive data and ensuring strict timelines were achieved. I demonstrated professionalism throughout and ensured personal and teamtargets were met on a daily/weekly basis.
