Analyzed and evaluated the Motor Transport readiness within 2d Marine Air Wing (2dMAW). Supervised the Motor Transport Licensing Program throughout the entire Group (2dMAW). Provided technical advice and supervision to all divisions. Maintained liaison with higher headquarters concerning the fielding and distribution of equipment within entire Group. Conducted Commanding General Readiness Inspections as the Motor Transport Subject Matter Expert. Researched/prepared a formal correspondence for Executive Staff outlining the financial responsibilities of USMC divisions as they utilized base licensing programs to train Marines. Coordinated with senior staff and North Carolina DOT in the acquisition of forty (40) DOD transportation permits allowing base divisions to effectively train Marines and carry-out missions. Coordinated/tracked over 1000 Transportation requests utilizing automated tracking programs and ensured that each request was effectively resolved.Advise the A/CS G-4 on all matters pertaining to Motor Transport.

Responsible for coordinating with Senior Level staff on scheduling and conducting all required and advanced motor transport training such as combat vehicle operators training, explosive counter measure equipment, communications, and the testing of new motor transport gear. Served as the senior licensing officer, conducting safe and effective driver training. Assisted the Motor Transport staff in planning motor transport considerations for all transportation operations. Ensured required reports are submitted in a timely manner to include situational reports, budget reports, and support tracking reports. Designed, coordinated and supervised the building of a combat vehicle operator’s course to provide instantaneous training for all International Security Assistance Force personnel in the Afghanistan. Course was instrumental in saving lives and improving driver skills for all transportation operations. Integral part in all load plan meetings of over 50 combat logistics operations in order to coordinate the transportation of over 10 million pounds of cargo and 300 passengers. Developed a system to track all transport operations totaling over 6000 miles.
