• Crafted and delivered training and manpower requirements and resources for new equipment.

Europe And Afghanistan

• Planning and running top level multi-national NATO exercises.
• Developed, organised and facilitated the pre-deployment exercise for the NATO Headquarters in preparation for its role commanding ISAF forces in Afghanistan.
• Planned and ran a major Combined Joint Task Force Headquarters exercise in Istanbul, comprising over two thousand personnel from all NATO countries.

Afghanistan

• Head of a multinational team within a NATO Headquarters (HQ ISAF) delivering training to multinational forces, working within a politically sensitive and challenging environment.
• Developed and implemented an exercise programme to prepare forces for Presidential elections, collaborating with other multinational agencies (UN, Non-Governmental Organisations and Afghan security forces).

• Responsible for the leadership, management, training and development of 115 military personnel.
• Prepared and led unit on a 6 month UN Peace Keeping Mission and 3 month Defence Resilience task.
