Job Duties: attracting new clients, cultivating client relationships, managing the movement of client goods, managing assigned accounts, developing new accounts, negotiating rates for trucking, and implementing marketing and sales strategies.

I direct the work of collectors across multiple teams. This includes planning, training, motivation, evaluating, analyzing and directing a team while ensuring compliance with the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and achieving maximum collection results for the company and its clients. Assist in decision making of account resolution. In my department I work to sell federal student loan rehabilitations to borrowers that have defaulted Stafford Loans (federally backed student loans). I have to convince borrowers to start to pay on a loan that they have not paid on by giving the benefits of what the program will do for them and what it will do to help them and their debt. I also assist in compiling and tracking an inventory of close to $30,000,000 of student loans that have been set up in a rehabilitation program. As well as reviewing and submitting that inventory to be bought by other loan holders.
