777 Final Body Join Manufacturing Engineer, my current statement of work mainly consists in maintaining our build plan in Final Body Join, and writing design orders for tooling and equipment. Accomplishing this enables the shop to get work done safely and productively. I also am involved in several projects aimed at barrel quality and process improvement.

As a member of the Innovation Cell, I utilized Fused Deposition Modeling and Additive manufacturing expertise to 3D print shop hardware and shop aids for the 777 and 777X manufacturing shop floor. I design and invent hand tools via CATIA and paper sketches to make install operations easier and safer. I help determine the best course of action using LEAN methodology, root cause problem solving and coordinating with tooling, manufacturing engineering, and mechanics.

As a member of the Engineering Owns Quality Team for 777 and 777X, worked directly with manufacturing shop floor, managers, and engineering functions to produce first time quality and eliminate rework when assembling aircraft. Performed root cause analysis, analyzed and interpreted build plans and engineering drawings, designed prototypes in CATIA, and managed projects with a focus on Lean.
