I’m a communications consultant with a deep commitment to organisations and causes that make a positive impact. I offer a persuasive mix of analytical rigour and curiosity, expressing myself with clarity and care. I thrive on solving problems and generating enthusiasm within teams to do their best work. I am inspired by new ideas and will protect these until they have time to take root. A natural leader with a strong work ethic, I’m equally happy developing strategy or rolling up my sleeves to get the job done. My superpower is my ability to build relationships and provide spot-on advice.During 14 years at Portland Communications, I led its award-winning Global Impact team and played an instrumental role in the agency’s international expansion. I’ve advised businesses, governments, multilateral bodies, foundations and high-profile individuals, including some of the world’s most renowned philanthropists. I have worked extensively in sub-Saharan Africa; building a network of contacts on the continent over the past 20 years. I helped to establish, and now run, an educational charity in Morogoro, Tanzania.
