As the Founder of Tidal Basin Law I represented clients in business litigation and similar matters in addition to employment law matters. Contract negotiation, drafting Joint Venture and Operating Agreements, incorporating on behalf of business owners. Settled contract dispute for $172,000. In addition, I took on employment law cases, appeared and won matters in Federal District Court, and negotiated settlements. Successfully sent briefs to oral argument before the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals and the Maryland Court of Special Appeals. Argued and won Smith v. Riderwood Village, Inc., before the Maryland Court of Special Appeals. Successfully negotiated my firm out of an unfavorable lease, negotiated the terms of the new lease, including reviewing and red-lining the new lease agreement, ultimately saving the firm upwards of $75,000.
