As a Mud Motor Technician, I assist with the disassembly and cleaning of mud motors returning from the field, ensuring strict adherence to restocking and tracking procedures. I have completed comprehensive work order training and contribute to the maintenance of vices, along with performing preventive maintenance on forklifts and cranes. Supporting the Shop Supervisor and Senior Shop Technician, I help schedule outgoing jobs and pursue additional training to enhance my understanding of the Motor Division product line.I actively provide input to improve assembly/disassembly efficiency, tool reliability, and reduce repair costs for the team. Additionally, I assist with motor and bearing assembly as required and contribute to the preparation of failure and incident reports. I am responsible for receiving new motor parts, following established stocking procedures, and washing internal motor components. Further duties include loading and unloading trucks, cleaning, painting, and preparing motors prior to shipment, as well as inspecting mud motor threads for damage and performing necessary maintenance tasks on the break-out machine to ensure optimal operation.
