Destiny Rescue works to rescue children from sexual slavery and exploitation in impoverished nations. I was tasked to initially set up and run our rescue project in Phnom Penh, Siem Reap and Kampong Cham, seeing between 115-143 children each year rescued from sex trafficking and exploitation. My role as Country Manager saw our projects in Cambodia employ more than 80 Cambodian nationals and up to 14 expat volunteers at any one time and run aftercare homes for up to 180 sexually exploited teenagers at a time in 11 safe-homes around the country.Our internal rehabilitation programs included running a training cafe, farm, sewing program and vocational training hair and 2 beauty salons.Our statistical success was in excess of 80% of girls who went through our programs, not returning to the sex industry over a 2-year monitored period. Internationally acclaimed "Outland Denim" was started from our sewing training program, with girls DR had rescued and has received accolades from around the world for its business model of employing victims of sexual exploitation and ethically sourcing all materials for the production of quality upmarket jeans. https://www.outlanddenim.com.au/page/our-story/ My role on the International Executive Team has also allowed strategic input to see Destiny Rescue increase rescue operations by 10x over the past 3 years.

Dominican Republic

My role entails the oversight of the project nations of Destiny Rescue, ensuring that our projects continue to operate in line with our vision and within our forecast budgets.Demonstrated skills include:- Establishing and building teams Developing and implementing strategic plans Networking with like-minded NGO's Initiating working relationships with law enforcementMost recently, I have been working in India to expand our work around the country.Our rescue teams in Delhi work undercover in very demanding and dangerous areas to see minors rescued from sex trafficking. We work closely with the police in gathering information that is actionable by the police in raids to free young women from some of the most horrific sex crimes we have witnessed worldwide.Our other rescue operations exist in Hyderabad where we take in teenage prostitutes from surrounding villages, give them education and/or vocational training to help them rebuild their lives. We currently have 2 homes with almost 50 girls in our care.All girls rescued and in our care go through an internationally acclaimed trauma rehabilitation program known as Empower which has seen more than 100,000 participants worldwide. http://www.drrobi.com/empower-trauma-rehabilitation/ I was privileged to have been involved in helping the creator of Empower, Dr Robi Sonderegger, launch the program in 2006 and was one of the first teachers of the program in Uganda for the first groups to ever complete the program. I have also assisted Destiny Rescue to bring the Empower program to Cambodia and India, requiring the program to be translated into the local language and adapted for cultural differences.

Caloundra, Queensland, Australia

Owner operator of high profile Real Estate Agency in Caloundra, Queensland Australia, employing up to 25 people over 2 locations. I have always been hands-on and directly active in sales as well as managing a large team of salespeople in addition to Caloundra's largest residential rent roll at the time.In 2010 Webbers First National was awarded the #1 Real Estate office in Australia for Commercial Sales and I was honoured to receive the award as #1 Commercial Salesperson of the year for the First National Group.During the time of owning this business, I was also active in both State and National level executive management of a large volunteer organisation and spear headed the set up a feeding program for local homeless people in Caloundra. My passion to help the marginalised and downtrodden, eventually led me to Uganda, Africa where I ended up travelling regularly to learn first hand the problems faced by those in a war-torn part of the world. It was in Africa that I learned of children being used as sex slaves and child soldiers. This led to the creation of "Empower" as one of the world's #1 trauma rehabilitation programs.
