This was a PPC marketing position, selling The Snugg products on Amazon with Google Adwords, Bing Ads and Amazon internal advertising. My role was New Categories Manager which meant introducing the companies’ new products to Amazon in nine different territories spanning Europe, North America, Japan and China. The job involved account management, monitoring of KPIs and also communication with Amazon to ensure that the products were displayed in the correct way to potential customers.

I ran PPC (pay-per-click) campaigns on three websites based in the USA. This involved arbitrage on internet traffic with the use of Google and Bing adverts. I bid daily on how much I was willing to pay for each click on the adverts that I run, and monitor the prices that I am receiving per click of any advert that I run on my sites. As well as this I manage other revenue streams from widgets provided by other online advertisers such as Amazon. The job also involves extensive research of our competitors, and monitoring of any and all markets to perhaps take advantage of new opportunities and potential upcoming spikes in searches for certain products or services.
