Tool/Die Supervisor (Site Supervisor)-Advanced Technology Services · Tool/Die consist of 4 value steams.· Help develop PM on Tool/Die equipment.· Participate in daily production meeting and advise on any tooling issues· Site safety coordinatorHAMMER FORGING.· Ensure all tooling is available for Hammers, to meet daily production requirements provided by customer. · When tooling did not perform as required, conduct an RCA to develop action plans to prevent future premature failures.· Conduct a tooling review meeting to check dies and tooling going and coming back from the hammers. Ensure all tooling is within specs. If forging dies and tooling are not with in specs come up with a plan on how to correct or sent to resink.· Schedule what forging dies and tooling goes to EDM’s and high speed mills to ensure tooling is ready for production needs.BROACHING· Ensure all broaches are available for production, to meet daily production requirements provided by our customer. · Conduct a RCA on all broaches that have been broken during production to prevent future breakage.· Work with engineering on broaches that are built to print and don’t gauge correctly.· Broaches that cannot be built in house, work with vendors to ensure they have up to date documentation and stay on track with delivery time as supplied on their quotes.SOCKET FORGING· Ensure all tooling is available for the presses, to meet daily production · Conduct a RCA on all punches and dies that have been broken during production to prevent future breakage and sizing issues.· Review all punches and dies that come back from the presses, to ensure they are all in good condition and have them reworked as necessary or replaced.MACHINEING · Schedule tooling to be created on mills and lathes.· Manage heat treat.· Work with engineering on tooling and fixtures concerns that may arise.
