As Gas Services Manager I have responsibility for a team of 32, delivering the management, coordination and Installation, servicing, maintenance and safety checks of gas appliances and heating systems to over 10’000 homes with a budget of £3 million.The gas team are responsible for effective delivery of a service undertaking 11,000 safety checks and 9’000 repairs each year, and we currently support our commercial team undertaking work for external clients.My role encompasses both a landlord and contractor function to deliver compliance in accordance with the Gas Safety (Installation & Use) Regulations 1998. This requires the development, implementation and management of a robust gas management system across the organisation.
